Professional Whitening at Home
Prices can range from $200 to $400 USD* and depend on the brand your dentist offers as well as other factors. You can place the tray over your teeth once a day for a predetermined amount of time or overnight. Though these treatments are used at home, they are far more effective and safer than over-the-counter options. Choosing a premade whitening tray rather than a custom tray can make at-home whitening even more affordable.

In-Office Teeth Whitening
A professional teeth whitening treatment can cost between $300 and $1,000 USD*. The overall price of your treatment will depend on the brand of whitening gel used as well as any advanced tools incorporated into the treatment. For example, certain treatments, such as laser whitening, will cost significantly more than traditional methods.

Teeth Whitening Procedure
Teeth Whitening is a cosmetic procedure done to enhance the brightness of your smile. At our clinic, Teeth Whitening is a fairly simple and quick procedure, normally done after a dental cleaning.
Teeth Whitening normally lasts about 3-6 months when all the aftercare instructions are followed. The procedure is done by a general dentist applying a gel to the tooth, which is then activated with an ultraviolet laser making the teeth brighter in shade. This is a non-painful procedure, however, after the Whitening it is common to experience some sort of sensitivity.

What is a “White Diet” and Why Should I Follow It?
A White diet is to consume “white foods” or foods without color for a period of 24 to 48 hours. This has to be done because when you have your teeth whitening there is a layer of proteins that are found naturally on the surface of the tooth, making it vulnerable to being stained. These proteins take 24 to 48 hours to re-stabilize.

Teeth Whitening FAQs
Teeth whitening is not permanent. People who expose their teeth to foods and beverages that cause staining may see the whiteness start to fade in as little as one month. Those who avoid foods and beverages that stain may be able to wait one year or longer before another whitening treatment or touch-up is needed.
The braces removal process is also pain-free. We use special tools to remove the brackets and wires and then we polish and clean your teeth so they sparkle. Enjoy your new beautiful smile !!!
Teeth whitening products containing 10% carbamide peroxide have not shown any damage to existing fillings. Existing restorations such as tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bonding, veneers, and bridges do not lighten. This means that any pre-existing dental work may need to be replaced to match the new tooth shade achieved in the natural teeth, should a bleaching process proceed.
There’s no evidence to date that the teeth whitening process has a harmful effect on the health of a tooth’s nerve.

Treatment Alternatives
Can be used to alter the color of a natural tooth, close small gaps and correct the appearance of crowded teeth without braces. They can be used to replace missing tooth structures and to cover defects or malformations. Composite Resin Veneers are less expensive than Porcelain Veneers and can be done in one visit to the Dentist. The downside of Composite Resin Veneers is that they are prone to staining and do not last as long as porcelain Veneers.
